Água Monchique entered 2022 with a new department in the company: the HR and happiness department.
According to a report by ECO, this new department will be led by Filipa David and will include the payment of 16 monthly salaries per year, as a form of recognition for the effort and dedication of its employees.
“Accepting this challenge allows me to actively participate in the development and growth of a project that strives for disruption. For years I have identified with the Monchique brand, of which I am a regular consumer, and with the principles it advocates. When I had the opportunity to get to know Monchique's internal project better, I was completely in love”, says Filipa David, director of human resources and happiness at Sociedade da Água de Monchique.
Recently, the company announced that it would offer health insurance with a market value of €500 to its employees, a measure that adds to a benefit already implemented, that of paying 16 salaries per year, instead of the usual 14. The latter implies, on average, an annual investment of around €150,000.
