In the first two months of this year 10,151 tests were carried out on "players, staff and managers of all the clubs involved in the competitions" under the authority of the body, and, in each club, "between 25 and 30 elements" have been tested, the FPF said.
The Portuguese Championship, the third tier of national football, was the competition with the most tests carried out (3,078), followed by the national women's football championship, the national championships of men's and women's futsal and the Revelation League.
According to the FPF, "95 percent of the scheduled matches in the competitions calendar are fulfilled" and the current week is the "second without postponed matches" due to cases of infection with the new coronavirus.
