Every Saturday until October 9, the train will leave Aveiro Station at 1:40 pm, bound for Macinhata do Vouga, making a stop in Águeda.
On the way back, the train departs at 4:25pm, with a stop in Águeda, for about 27 minutes, in a programme that includes a guided tour of the city's historic centre and the riverside area.
In May, CP made four special trips on the Vouga Line with the historic train, but with a steam locomotive, which in summer is replaced by a diesel locomotive to avoid the risk of spreading forest fires.
On May 8 and 9, “Neapolitan” carriages manufactured in Naples in the 1930s, which have been recently renovated, were hitched to an old steam locomotive, built by the German house Henschel & Sohn.
