Tuesday, February 7 – Let's Walk from Bensafrim

A brilliant moderate walk of just over 2 hours. There are some ups and downs but nothing too onerous!

10am start – meet at the cafe by the Mercado in Bensafrim. Take the A22 westwards to the end and go right at the roundabout towards the village. 300m along turn left at the lights where there is a large parking area and the Mercado and cafe. If coming from Lagos take the Aljezur road, when you come to Bensafrim drive through the village. The Mercado etc is on the right. Julie +351 965 753 033

Tuesday, February 14 – Let’s Walk from Purgatorio

Walking through the low hills west of Paderne, giving wonderful 360 views to enjoy. Just over 2 hours of moderately easy walking.

10am start – meet at the snack bar Ines (37.176231, -8.212000). From the EN125 take the old Lisbon Road IC1 and then the first exit for Tunes and Paderne and at the t – junction turn right. Follow the road for about 5km passing under the motorway and just before you arrive at another T – junction you will see large white gates on the right, the cafe is hidden away behind the gates.
