According to the Portuguese Government, this flight will depart on 9 April from Guarulhos International Airport, in São Paulo, bound for Lisbon, according to “the measures applicable to air traffic to and from mainland Portugal, in the context of the situation epidemiological disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus”.
The same source said that TAP Air Portugal will contact “passengers who, being Portuguese or foreign citizens residing in Portugal, were affected by the suspension of flights and expressed, with the Portuguese consular posts in Brazil, the need of an immediate return to national territory” .
In order to take this flight, passengers must present an evidence of laboratory testing (RT-PCR) for screening for infection by SARS-CoV-2, which causes covid-19, with a negative result.
This test must be carried out within 72 hours before the departure, with the exception of children who have not reached 24 months of age.
In addition, they have to comply with a 14-day period of prophylactic isolation after entering in Portuguese territory, either at home or in a location indicated by the Portuguese health authorities.
