The expansion plan of this international network focused on
the tourism segment, which will have the MCoutinho group representing the
British brand in Portugal, already plans to open new stations in Porto and Faro
in 2024, according to a report by ECO.
In a statement, the CEO of Green Motion, Richard Lowden,
shared his “great enthusiasm for [having] managed to open a reference station
in Lisbon”, promising “to provide a travel experience that has allowed the
company to reach the ranking of the largest car rental companies in the world”.
“The acquisition of the master franchise for Portugal is
part of the expansion strategy of the group's business portfolio in the area of
mobility”, justifies Paulo Pereira, responsible for the mobility area of the
MCoutinho group, which last year sold 12,522 new and used cars.
