The Dal Lake was once infested with weeds, but now those are being transformed into rich natural fertiliser.


Maninder Singh is the founder of Clean “Effen” Tech, which harvests thousands of tonnes of the lake weeds every year, dries and then grinds them into fertiliser to sell to local farmers.
