The average price of a 1L bottle of mineral water reaches ¥156, while the average distribution price for 1.6 millimetre cold-rolled steel sheets amounts to ¥1442,500 per tonne, which is ¥141.5 per kilogramme, ¥15 cheaper than 1kg of water.

According to Nikkei POS, which collects sales information from supermarkets and other stores nationwide, this represents an increase of up to 5 percent year-on-year in March alone.
It's the same here in Portugal.
"Luso" agua in 33cl bottles retails at 1.09 per liter. That's 1090 per ton.
Steel sheet (with tax, delivered to my door) costs just 950 per ton.
Of course, if the steel were in the form of razor blades and I bought them at the supermarket, they would come to around 1,000,000 euros per ton, and irrigation water supplied by the Mira irrigation scheme is charges at 5 cents per ton.
