Gamblers will also be asked to provide ID at the door and, in the event they bet or cash in over €2,000 in chips, they will be subject to closer scrutiny.
The new rules are part of an EU directive to be implemented by Member States by 2017.
This comes after the EU’s official journal published a statement in which it explained “The use of game industry services for bleaching purposes of criminal activity product is of concern.”
