According to IPMA, the yellow warning for Faro extends until 00:00 on Thursday, 31 March, because of sea disturbance on the south coast, with southwest waves with 2 to 2.5 metres.

In the Azores, the warning will remain until 6pm today because of the sea disturbance in the islands of the central group (S. Jorge, Pico, Faial, Graciosa and Terceira) and the western group (Corvo and Flores).

For the Autonomous Region of Madeira, the warnings because of periods of rain or showers, sometimes heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms, extend until 12pm on Wednesday and cover not only the north coast, as the south coast and mountainous regions of Madeira Island, as well as the island of Porto Santo.

For today in mainland Portugal, IPMA predicts generally cloudy skies with the possibility of showers, easterly wind sometimes strong in the Algarve and highlands and an increase in maximum temperature.

There is also the possibility of dust in the air, coming from North Africa, which made the Directorate General of Health had warned on Monday for the "poor air quality on the continent", recommending extra care for the most sensitive population, such as children and the elderly.

The minimum temperatures will vary between 8º (Braga) and 16º (Faro) and the maximum between 20º (Guarda) and 29º (Leiria and Setúbal).
