Minister of the Presidency, Mariana Vieira da Silva, stated that the prohibition of entry and exit remains for the AML, between 15:00 on Friday and 06:00 Monday, with the exceptions provided for by law.

However, according to the minister, people who have a digital certificate or negative test for covid-19 may enter and leave the Metropolitan Area.

Mariana Vieira da Silva highlighted that the Government also approved today a decree-law that implements and regulates the Covid-19 certificate of the European Union, a document that has information on vaccination and test results, among others, corresponding to the holder, issued by the health authorities, and that it will come into force in 1 July.

The minister also stated that the areas of Lisbon, the Alentejo and the Algarve are the ones that are in the worst state of incidence of covid-19.
