“There will be no Vodafone Paredes de Coura this year. All the uncertainties and constant changes in the procedures for the return of live shows lead us, with sadness, to take this decision", says the promoter Ritmos, in a statement released on 22 June, in which she announces the new dates: 17, 18, 19 and 20 August, 2022.

The festival had not taken place last year, due to restrictions imposed by the Government to try to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to the promoter, “all tickets purchased for the 2020 and 2021 editions are valid for the 2022 edition”.

“If for some reason they are unable to attend the next edition, they can request a refund between 18 August and 6 September, 2021 through a form created for this purpose and which will be available on our website”, the statement reads, where it is further explained that “all holders of tickets for Vodafone Paredes de Coura 2021 are not entitled to a refund at the time, but may, however, request their replacement under the legally terms”.

The promoter stresses that whenever someone decides to keep the ticket, they are “helping the entire community that surrounds the festival at this very difficult time”.
