According to a statement released by the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE), it is defined that by the end of the month the bottle of 12.5 kilograms (kg) of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) butane, type T3 will cost a maximum of 22.95 Euros, while the bottle of 13 kg will have a maximum value of 23.87 Euros.

Propane LPG, also in T3, will cost a maximum of 19.54 Euros for the 9 kg bottle and 23.89 Euros for the 11 kg bottle.

For the T5 type, the price of propane LPG will not exceed EUR 68.25 for the 35 kg bottle and EUR 87.75 for the 45 kg bottle.

The maximum prices of these LPG bottles "can only add costs with the delivery service, which apply to situations where the bottles are purchased by telephone or by electronic means, made available in a place different from the point of sale", and "the price of the delivery service should only be adherent to the costs incurred by the marketer with the provision of that service".

The maximum prices for bottled gas were calculated by ERSE as part of its functions of regulating the LPG sector and set by the government, in force during January 2021 throughout the continental territory, in the context of the confinement resulting from the state of emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

On-the-spot monitoring of compliance with the law will be the responsibility of the National Energy Sector Authority (ENSE), the Food and Economic Security Authority (ASAE), the security forces and services and the municipal police, as well as other entities with competence in this area.
