In the Algarve, the municipalities of Vila Real de Santo António and Castro Marim are now described as being in a critical situation regarding the tracking and testing of covid-19 among the community. More than 500 new cases of infection have emerged in the past two weeks, which authorities say makes it difficult to track contacts and even conduct tests. Regarding delayed tests, the local mayors said the situation is critical.
Would it not be sensible when a district is this compromised as many vaccines are given ASAP. Seems the most logical way forward.
