Temperatures today (11 May) peaked at 22 degrees in Faro with sunshine and intermittent cloud cover but by Saturday the mercury is to rise to 31 degrees and to a very hot 33 degrees by Sunday.

All clouds are set to clear by the weekend and the remainder of the week is to be clear, bright and hot.

Lisbon is not set to fair so well with the weather remaining mild and temperatures peaking at 25 degrees on Sunday and a slight chance of rain the following week, while in Porto it is to rain for the rest of this week before drying out slightly over the weekend.
