In a statement, the vaccine task force clarified that people vaccinated on August 10 and 11 (Tuesday and Wednesday) will be contacted by health authorities, until next week, to “monitor the effectiveness of vaccines”.
However, they emphasises that given the characteristics of vaccines against Covid-19, "the failure that occurred in the conservation process is not expected to have an impact on the health of users".
They also say that Infarmed is monitoring the situation and adds that any adverse reaction must be reported through the RAM Portal (https://www.infarmed.pt/web/infarmed/submissaoram).
They can also clarify their doubts about vaccination by email Vaccina.covid@arsnorte.min-saude.pt, adds the note.
