“We continue to count on everyone to continue writing the success story that has been the vaccination process in Portugal and, therefore, a communication campaign is being launched (…) appealing to this collective effort”, announced the Deputy Secretary of State and Health at a press conference on vaccination against influenza and against Covid-19.

The government official stressed that Portugal had "an unprecedented vaccination campaign", but now it is in another phase in which "vaccination does not happen on a massive scale".

"So, more than comparing with the previous process which is not comparable, we must remain focused on the primary objective which is to protect people, our country and we are making every effort to reach everyone and not leave anyone behind".
