"The Government understands that all people who have the booster dose will no longer have to test" to have access to various sites or activities, announced António Costa at the end of the Council of Ministers.
According to the Prime Minister, this is "an incentive" to people who are able to access the booster dose.
According to the new rules approved in the Council of Ministers to "control the pandemic", is mandatory negative test for those who do not have the booster dose of the vaccine to make visits to nursing homes and patients admitted to hospitals.
For access to major events, events without assigned seats or in makeshift venues and sports venues, people who have had a booster dose more than 14 days ago are also exempt from testing.
In turn, the digital certificate is mandatory to enter restaurants, tourist establishments and local accommodation, cultural shows, events with assigned seating and gyms.

The government is catastrophizing the situation in extravagant disproportion to the risk or harm, conscripting all businesses to enforce the arduous security theater mandates of the police state. It sounds miserable--maybe not quite as bad as Australia, but only just. I will stay away until these stifling impositions are relaxed.

Is that because they can't contract or spread COVID? Or just because they've proven their loyalty and submission?

Well said ‘Fred Doe’.
Everyone knows that vaccinated catch and spread so absolutely no sense in these rules, it’s about control.

Nevadifornia, everything is going as planned, Portugal is just following the WEF script, first the great reset, then build back better. And the obedient Portuguese population has no clue....

My vaccination certificate does not show the booster received on Sept 11. It only shows "2/2" with "09-11-2021
/ DATE OF VACCINATION". Can you research why we don't see booster on the certificate? Thanks! Jim Porzak

I have also received the 3rd booster dose in Portugal and my certificate tells 2/2 doses. My wife had her 3rd dose the same day in Sweden and on the Swedish certificate it tells that she had 3/3 doses. Somebody should tell the Portuguese authorities to change this information on the certificates because it doesn't tell the truth. Can be a problem in the future.

Jim Porzak, nobody cares about your booster ????

A simple Google search gives the answer to the certificate question: vaccines are only valid 14 days after receiving them (before that period immunity is still considered low) and so the booster will only appear in the certificate after 14 days. You can find this info here (it’s in Portuguese but Chrome can translate the text): https://www.sns24.gov.pt/guia/certificado-digital-covid-da-ue/certificado-de-vacinacao/
