"The price update, for the vast majority of EPAL's domestic customers, around 85% (average monthly consumption of 8 m3), is 9 cents per month", reads a statement from EPAL.

According to EPAL, "EPAL's new tariff for 2022 has been approved and takes effect from yesterday (1 February), for direct customers".

The company responsible for water supply to the city of Lisbon also states that the “tariffs in force in 2021 have been updated in accordance with the forecast of the harmonised consumer price index, as established in Decree-Law nº 124/2021, of 30 December ”.
