The Institute of Housing and Urban Rehabilitation (IHRU) will allocate, by a draw, 54 dwellings in various regions of the country, for supported lease and affordable lease contracts. Those interested in bidding can do so with information on this site.
According to the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, Pedro Nuno Santos: “Applications are open for houses from T1 to T5, located in Coimbra, Guimarães, Vila Nova de Gaia, Loulé, Lisbon Metropolitan Area, Penafiel and Gondomar”.
According to the ministry, in the case of affordable rental, housing will be drawn from among the people and households who submit an application until April 19, provided they meet the eligibility conditions of the programme and the requirements of the tender notice.
“Supported rental housing will be drawn from among people and households with housing requests that are already registered on the EAA platform”, explains the Government, noting that the draw is part of “the set of measures underway to guarantee access to the housing to families that do not have a response in the market”.
