Algarve weather warning

The district of Faro is now under a yellow weather warning due to the forecast of high seas, with waves from the southeast waves up to two to three metres, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).

The yellow notice for the Algarve will be in effect between 18:00 today and 06:00 Tuesday.

The yellow warning is issued by the IPMA whenever the weather situation represents a risk for certain activities.
