This is considered a revivalist building, which combines various influences, especially neo-Gothic (English and Alpine) and Romantic. Located on Estrada da Pena, near Quinta da Regaleira, in Sintra, this mansion was designed by the architect José Luís Monteiro, and is even considered “one of [his] most representative works” by the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage.

Outside the building it is also possible to visit Parque Biester, which offers views over the village of Sintra and its surroundings. Here you can find several species of exotic plants, such as camellias from China and Japan, according to Público.

Tickets to enter will cost 10 euros for all visitors aged between 13 and 65 years. The price of the visit is 5 euros for children between 6 and 12 years old and adults between 66 and 79 years old.” . Children under 5 years old have free admission as well as those over 80 years old. And there is also the possibility to buy a family ticket (includes two adults and two young people) and costs 25 euros.
