“We are being targeted by a DDoS (Distributed Denial of
Service) attack. There are millions of access requests, which clog the website,
and caused it to come down,'” a club source told Lusa.
According to the same source, FC Porto is waiting for this
situation to be resolved as soon as possible, ensuring that the attackers “do not
enter the structure” of the site.
Sporting also reported that its official website is being
targeted by a DDoS computer attack, which is
causing “overload on servers” and unavailability of access.
