Portimão City Council is to invest 870 thousand euros in the remodelling of the municipal kennel, which will allow it to double its capacity to house abandoned dogs and cats. It will increase the facilities from the current 350 square meters to 860 square meters, divided over two floors, with individual boxes for up to 60 dogs and 40 cats.
