“The investment in information and communication technology
systems planned for the year 2023 will lead to a very significant increase in
revenue, essentially through the expansion of the national automatic speed
monitoring network (SINCRO), which will have an impact on the revenue that will
be around 13 million euros”, says the proposal for the State Budget for 2023
(OE2023), which the Government delivered to the Assembly of the Republic.
The document also emphasises that investment in information
and communication technology systems “will also generate significant savings”,
an example of which is the development of the Traffic Offenses System (SCOT+),
which will translate into savings of around 2.4 million euros, through the
dematerialisation of the administrative offense process.
Same pattern as usual they suck you in and and then start removing all your liberties piece by piece
Meanwhile have the Multiple night time robberies whilst people are asleep been solved?
Thought not.

So it isn't about safety really, just revenue raising!

The idea of the speed cam admin being "dematerialised" sounds rather fun.

Of course it's about raising revenue, but if nobody speeds, they get no money and have wasted money on expensive cameras and we get to keep our money

Hey, hey, hey, hey, speed everyday!
Just get the correct application on your phone and speed as much as you want. I think we should raise speed limits on straight, smooth parts of the motorways with little traffic

Better to buy from the revenue red light cameras! Then the revenue will increase significantly.

How about teaching the use of indicators so that traffic moves more freely and people won’t need to speed?!?
