According to a statement from TAAG, the plane operated by Hifly was scheduled to leave at 23:20, but left late due to the need to replace equipment after a collision between the Sonangol truck and the Airbus A330, during refuelling.

The carrier states that the passengers continued their journey on a Boeing 777, whose flight was scheduled for November 3, “with no additional impact on the global flight schedule”.

TAAG underlines that it is not involved in what happened and was affected by this situation, having requested the opening of an investigation to investigate the incident that only caused material damage to the plane.
