The highlight was the film “The Majestic Adventures of Ofelia de Souza”, which won the Tourism International Grand Prix and the Gold Award in Tourism Products. In turn, the video “Porto and the North of Portugal are awaking” received the Gold Award in Tourism Destination Region.

As for Ofelia de Souza’s promotional film, it is already the second Grand Prix won at the CIFFT 2022 Circuit, after having won the same award at the Japan World’s Tourism Film Festival. It is also worth remembering that, also recently, it won a Gold Trophy at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards.

The award ceremony for this African festival took place on May 6 in Cape Town, South Africa, in which the 80 winners were announced, including Silver, Gold, and Grand Prix of three competitions: DOC& TV, Tourism International, and Tourism Africa. The fourth edition of this festival had 315 entries, from over 50 countries.
