“Based on the information already collected, the
year-on-year rate of change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) will have
decreased to 9.9% in November, a rate 0.2 percentage points lower (p.p.) than
that observed in the previous month”, indicates the INE.
It should be noted that the value of the CPI without housing
will be used to calculate pension updates. The Minister of Finance had already
signalled that if inflation were higher than expected by the Government, the
value would be corrected next year.
