The company will have 17 additional flights, compared to the
same period in 2022, thus restoring the schedule to “pre-pandemic levels”.
"For the United States of America, TAP will offer 14
flights a week to Boston in the peak of summer (three more than in the same
period of 2022), five to Chicago (plus one), 10 to Miami (plus three), five to
San Francisco (plus one) and 10 to Washington (plus two). In total, for the
United States of America, TAP will offer 10 more flights per week than in the
summer peak of 2022".
TAP recalls that, "in addition to the aforementioned
destinations, which will see an increase in offer, TAP also operates direct
flights to New York JFK and New York EWR, airports where it will maintain the
number of flights departing from Lisbon".
Brazil flights
"With regard to Brazil, in the summer of 2023, TAP will
offer four flights a week to Belém, one more than in 2022, seven to Belo
Horizonte (plus one), six to Salvador (plus one), six to Brasília (one more)
and 20 to S. Paulo (two more), maintaining its offer compared to the same
period last year in the other Brazilian cities where it operates (Fortaleza,
Natal, Maceió, Porto Alegre, Recife and Rio de Janeiro) In total, in the summer
of 2023, TAP increases the number of weekly flights to Brazil by six, compared
to the same period in 2022", says the company.
Another new feature "is the increase from two to three
flights a week between Lisbon and Caracas, allowing an improvement in the offer
for the Portuguese community in Venezuela".
"In addition to this important reinforcement of its transatlantic offer departing from Lisbon, TAP will also soon announce good news regarding its offer of intercontinental flights departing from Porto", promises the airline.
This is nice as long as TAP can get its planes in the air after all the work stoppages and strikes.
