The novel is “funny, touching, and wonderfully thought-provoking, offering an insider’s take on the momentous efforts it takes to make a film. At once a reflection on America’s past and present, on the world of show business and the real world we all live in,” according to the festival’s official website.
Mr. Hanks is just one of a huge list of speakers set to make an appearance at the festival. Others include U2 bandmates Bono and The Edge, Pultizer winner Richard Ford, and Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, among many others.
The festival will take place on 16th June.
Are you as excited as we are?!
