Lisbon: A sunny and mild weekend is forecast for the capital with temperatures hitting highs of 25 degrees on Saturday and clear skies and 24 degrees on Sunday. It will be feeling cooler on Monday with highs of 22 degrees and intermittent sunshine while northerly winds will make it feel cooler still.

The north: It is to be mainly sunny over the weekend with highs of 24 degrees and nightly lows of 10 degrees. There will be a slight chance of rain on Monday when temperatures are to reach highs of 23 degrees. The weather is to remain stable for the remainder of the week with average daily highs of 23 degrees.

The centre: Clear skies are forecast for Saturday with highs of 24 degrees. It will be feeling warmer on Sunday with highs of 27 degrees however there will also be some intermittent cloud cover. Temperatures are to begin to drop slightly from Monday with daily highs averaging 25 degrees by Wednesday.

The south: A sunny weekend is on the cards in the south with clear skies and temperatures peaking at highs of 26 degrees and dropping to nightly lows of 16 degrees. From Monday intermittent cloud cover is expected but temperatures are to rise to 28 degrees with lows of 15 degrees with northerly winds.

Madeira: Saturday is to be cloudy with some sunny periods and highs of 23 degrees. On Sunday cloud cover is to decrease slightly and temperatures are to rise to highs of 24 degrees. Temperatures are to fall again from Monday and by Wednesday they are to peak daily at 22 degrees.

The Azores: Heavy clouds will be broken up by sunny spells over the weekend when temperatures are to average daily highs of 21 degrees and lows of 16 degrees. From Monday cloud cover is to lighten and by Wednesday there will be a chance of rain.
