This new vehicle will hit the market in 2026 and according to the AFIA (Association of Manufacturers for the Automotive Industry) "there will be a new impulse in the Portuguese automotive industry, which will be greatly appreciated if the offer of the National Components Industry is taken advantage of.

Still, according to the general director of Autoeuropa, Thomas Hegel Gunther, the news has already been communicated to the approximately 5,000 workers of the company located in Palmela, in the district of Setúbal.

It was not revealed which model will be produced in Autoeuropa, but everything seems to indicate that it is the second generation of the Volkswagen T-Roc. Remember that the first generation of this model is currently the only vehicle in production at the Portuguese factory.
