“To allow the work carried out to be integrated into the network in operation, it will be necessary to close the entire Yellow line and the Telheiras and Campo Grande stations on the Green line, from 21:00 (departure time of the last train from each terminal station) on the 7th of July”, says Metropolitano de Lisboa in a statement.

On Saturday, the Telheiras station (Green line) will be reopened and, on the Yellow line, it will once again be possible to circulate between Campo Grande and Cidade Universitária stations.

Circulation on the Yellow line between Odivelas and Rato will once again be carried out with six-car trains, and on the Green line, the circulation of six-car trains was restored on June 12.

Scheduled to open in 2024, the new circular line, which will connect Rato station to Cais do Sodré, extending over two kilometres of the network, will create a circular ring in the centre of Lisbon.

The Metropolitano de Lisboa operates daily with four lines: Yellow (Rato-Odivelas), Green (Telheiras-Cais do Sodré), Blue (Reboleira-Santa Apolónia) and Red (Airport-São Sebastião).

Normally, the metro runs between 06:30 and 01:00.
