Lisbon: It will be feeling hotter again over the weekend in Lisbon with temperatures peaking at highs of 35 degrees and dropping to lows of 20 degrees. On Monday some cloud cover is forecast although it will be even hotter with maximums of 36 degrees. The intermittent cloud is to remain for the week.

The north: On Saturday maximum highs of 32 degrees are forecast. On Sunday the clear skies are to remain but thermometers are to hit highs of 35 degrees with lows of 16 degrees. From Monday temperatures are to average highs of 35 degrees with intermittent cloud cover and lows of 18 degrees.

The centre: Clear skies are to continue over the weekend when temperatures are to hit a massive 40 degrees on Sunday, with nightly lows of 21 degrees. From Monday intermittent cloud cover is expected and for the rest of the week highs of 41 degrees are predicted with nightly lows of 21 degrees.

The south: The clear skies and high temperatures continue in the south with temperatures reaching maximums of 34 degrees and lows of 22 degrees over the weekend. From Monday some intermittent cloud is forecast and temperatures will average daily highs of 32 degrees and nightly lows of 22 degrees.

Madeira: Saturday is to be bright and warm with highs of 28 degrees and lows of 21 degrees. On Sunday some cloud cover is expected on Sunday with highs of 28 degrees and lows of 20 degrees.

The Azores: Rain is to ease on Saturday when there will be highs of 26 degrees and lows of 20 degrees. On Sunday rain is back on the cards and showers are to remain for the rest of the week with temperatures averaging highs of 26 degrees.
