The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) has issued a red weather warning for the district of Lisbon between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm on Sunday due to the heat, when temperatures are expected between 39 and 41 degrees celsius.

According to the IPMA, on Sunday and Monday, temperatures in the city of Lisbon can reach values between 39 and 41 degrees, while the minimum temperature will vary between 20 and 22 degrees.
In a statement, the IPMA justifies the red warning with the “persistence of extremely high values of the maximum temperature”.
The red warning is the most severe on a scale of three and indicates an Extremely Hazardous Weather Situation.

I wish they would stop sensationalizing the heat. It's August, of course it's hot! These red warnings? It's not abnormally hot for August and there might be fires.
