The most represented Portuguese region in this ranking is the Algarve, with six destinations in the top ten. In addition to Albufeira, in first place, Portimão is second, Quarteira is fourth, Vilamoura is fifth, Monte Gordo is eighth and Tavira is tenth. Lagos, Armação de Pêra and Altura occupy the fifteenth, eighteenth and nineteenth position, respectively.

The region of Northern Portugal is also much sought after by the Portuguese for this holiday, appearing a total of seven times in the ranking, with emphasis on Viana do Castelo, Porto, Braga and Guimarães. Lisbon and the Tagus Valley could not be missing from the classification, appearing a total of six times. Finally, Alentejo, Madeira and the central region are less intense, with five and two appearances in the classification, respectively.
