The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) told CNN Portugal that this week will be “cooler than last week”, with temperatures varying between 30 and 34 degrees Celsius inland and 24 and 30 on the coast.

The nights are also expected to be “cooler” than last week. Jorge Ponte predicts “non-tropical” nights across the country, with temperatures between 15 and 19 degrees. Only the Algarve region, namely Faro, escapes this forecast and registers warmer nights, which can reach 20 or 21 degrees.
