The Killers from Las Vegas, British producer Fred Again, and US artist Billie Eilish will perform on the main stage of the three-day festival, which gets underway in Co. Laois on Friday.

A sneak peek of the festivities was provided by the organisers at the Stradbally Estate, which was getting ready to receive thousands of festivalgoers.

The supporting structures are still receiving finishing touches, but the main stage with its rainbow-colored flag is already up.

The Academic, an Irish indie rock band, gave a press-only preview performance of three songs on Tuesday.

The band was also unexpectedly added to the festival lineup on the media day. Their first albums, Tales from The Backseat (2018) and Sitting Pretty (2023), both peaked at number one in Ireland.

Disc jockey The Waggon Wobblers also performed a clown-themed act on a minivan that had been transformed into a vibrant dance stage.

While posing as nuns, comedians Kiera Julia Ryan and Megan O'Malley amused the press.

Over the course of the weekend, Niall Horan from One Direction, Paolo Nutini from Scotland, and The Script from Ireland will all play at the sold-out event.

This year, there will be a new stage in the ArtLot area, which will house the alternative music and immersive art experiences during the festival weekend.

Additionally, the festival has included a brand-new area called Croi, which during the day will serve as a “harmonious hub of wellness, somatic movement, and conscious connection” and at night as a gathering area with music and a fire pit.

Disposable vapes, drones, animals, and glass containers larger than 100 ml are just a few of the prohibited goods that festivalgoers have been warned against bringing.
