Hundreds of people and their dogs joined a guy on a quest to help Thailand's street dogs last night, and he is “massively grateful” to them. The man was walking through Dublin's Phoenix Park.
“I put up a tweet and a post on Instagram and I expected maybe 50 people to turn up, but in the end, there were hundreds, maybe even a thousand,” said Mr. Harbison.
“When I stepped out of the vehicle, I was shocked by what I saw. Just loving humans and their dogs.
Last month, Mr. Harbison's dog Snoop passed away. He claims Snoop “kept me alive through depression and addiction,” and Monday's walk was held in remembrance of Snoop.
It was a really happy moment since I used to stroll through Phoenix Park with Snoop in my more negative days. I'm really appreciative of everyone's attendance.
Dogs are awesome. But so are humans. Not all is bad in this world. 🥰🙏 pic.twitter.com/9TakedhJNs

Before migrating to Thailand, Mr. Harbison, a former chef, and media entrepreneur, sold two of his profitable businesses.
Thanks to his work to save Thai street canines, he has amassed tens of thousands of social media followers.
Hope - How Street Dogs Taught Me the Meaning of Life: Featuring Rodney, McMuffin, and King Whacker', his debut book, was just published.
