“Overall, we had a very good summer. We see that travellers are returning and we had occupancy levels similar to those in the pre-COVID-19 period, that is, around 90% load factor throughout the summer”, according to a report by Publituris.

According to Nicolas Henin, who was in Lisbon for the World Aviation Festival, “Last year, Portugal was the second market for Transavia during the peak summer and, this year this has continued”.

French market

“Spain is the main market for Transavia France and the Netherlands, and then comes Portugal. I think that, on the French side, Portugal is actually the biggest market in terms of places, particularly on the route between Porto and Paris. Portugal has always been one of the key markets for the airline and, despite having grown a lot, we continue to see that traffic is very strong and that Portugal continues to be one of our main markets in Europe. We are very happy with the results in Portugal”, congratulated Nicolas Henin.
