"Para Sempre" is the only Portuguese production present among the 56 nominees from 20 countries, in the 14 categories in the competition, and gives Plural Entertainment its eighth nomination for the International Emmy, in the Telenovela category, according to the producer.

Plural Entertainment has already won the International Emmy for Best Telenovela with "Meu Amor", in 2010, and "Ouro Verde", in 2018.

"Para Sempre" is written by André Ramalho, project directed by Francisco Antunes, produced by Ana Almeida and interpreted by Diogo Morgado, Inês Castel-Branco, António Capelo, Marina Mota, Patrícia Tavares and Paulo Pires , among other actors.

In the 'race' for the Emmys, "Para Sempre" competes with the Brazilian soap operas “Cara e Coragem” and “Pantanal”, both from TV Globo, and “Yargi” (“Family Secrets”), from Turkey.
