The budget will reportedly increase from 200 to 360 million euros with each region being left to define how they will use the funds to boost mobility.

Ana Abrunhosa, Minister of Territorial Cohesion, stressed that the Mobility Plan being prepared by the Government foresees measures that tackle a lack of "diversity" in the supply of public transport.
