The firm, which already has 100 employees in Ireland, stated that the new site will give employees a setting that encourages interaction and teamwork.

According to the report, the new office has improved focus workspaces, outdoor space, extra conference rooms, and a huge gathering area, all of which are identical to those in Etsy's Brooklyn headquarters.

Etsy noted that this action, along with its recent signing of the Diversity Charter Ireland, shows its continued dedication to advancing inclusion, equality, and diversity throughout its operations.

“We’re excited to establish Etsy’s new EU home in a space that enables our teams to leverage in-person moments with thoughtful design that facilitates connection and collaboration,” Kim Seymour, CEO of Etsy.

“Through the opening of this new office space and Etsy’s signing of the Diversity Charter Ireland, we’re proud to deepen our commitment to our Ireland-based community, and to cultivating a vibrant, diverse workplace in Ireland where employees from all backgrounds can thrive,” she said.
