The Algarve Hotel and Tourism School (AHETA) is responsible for the training that will cover the themes “Accessible Tourism”, “Flooring: Organisation and Service” and “Service and Excellence”. The training will begin on Monday, 13 November, according to the municipality’s statement.

“The program, which began in 2022 with a partnership agreement, within the scope of the 'Reactivate Tourism – Build the Future' Plan, aims to broaden and deepen the training of employees in the sector (entrepreneurs, managers, intermediate and operational staff)”, justified the same source.

According to the Faro municipality, the training actions for tourism workers were prepared based on the results of a diagnostic survey on the needs of the sector carried out among workers in various service areas, namely hotels, local accommodation, tourist entertainment, and restaurants.

The “Accessible Tourism” training will take place on the 13 and 14 November, between 2 pm and 5 pm, while the action dedicated to “Floors: Organisation and Service”, will take place on the 20th, 22nd and 24th of November, between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm (register here), and the action on “Service and Excellence” on 27 November and 28th and December 4th and 5th, also between 2:00 pm and 30 minutes and 5:30 pm (register here).
