A “treasure trove” of human genetic data has been made available to scientists, ushering in what many believe could be a new era for preventing and treating diseases.

UK Biobank made the full genetic sequences of nearly 50,000 volunteers who also provided their medical records, which provided a rich resource for studying the biological underprints of human health and disease.
