The post goes on to state that the purchase of lost luggage can be made through an online page, allegedly associated with Lisbon Airport and in the comments there are statements from “customers” talking about how great the offer appears to be.
“I found a huge amount of branded clothing, a Macbook, as well as Ray-Ban sunglasses”, says one of the comments on this publication.
However, while the proposal is tempting, Polígrafo has already confirmed with ANA Aeroportos that this is a “fraudulent publication” and it “has already been reported to Facebook / META, with ANA already taking legal action”, according to a report by Postal.
This scam aims to obtain the bank details of those targeted. It is for this reason that ANA Aeroportos, responsible for the Lisbon Airport concession, is “making every effort to ensure that this page is deleted and that those responsible are held legally responsible for this illicit act”.
Have you written about the scam’s using the identities of:
CTT EXPRESSO telling you a delivery is held up in customs and needs a payment of €4.95 ? ( who does not have deliveries pending ? ) The card payment then goes to a fictitious company to start a fictitios subscription that gets bigger and never ends until you cancel your card ! And they actually use a real and serious payment company, involving them as unknowing accomplices.
and
TAP offering a compensation payment for a delayed flight which needs credit card details to refund the money. Your card will also need to get cancelled after receiving unauthorised charges.

Olivier Vetter what amazes me, is that the Portuguese if they can, will try to leave the country to live a life with less hassle, and the foreigners what to join the mess. What are you thinking? That you can live a life with lower taxation, and being in an exemplar 1st world country at the same time? Oh dear oh dear...

Facebook is rife with scams mostly offering flats to let with some sort of upfront payment they say is to an Intermediary like booking.com or something else respected but actually the payment goes to them and you are left waiting at a door of a flat you think you rented waiting for someone to show up from the Intermediary with the keys. Facebook does nothing about this when you report it as they are notorious for not giving a damn about their users.

If it is a scam you want try GUERIN CAR HIRE. Hired a car for four days, the car had a slow puncture which got worse over the four days. We stopped at the Zooon the way back to the airport and had to inflate the tyre with the repair kit. When we got to GUERIN we told them about the tyre. They charged us for TWO NEW TYRES AND A MANAGEMENT CHARGE. The reason given was that they would have to replace both front tyres. Guerin must have a pile of nearly new tyres going to waste somewhere. So be warned.

Maybe don't book a property through Facebook then. There are 100s of reputable estate agents to rent through. I wouldn't trust anything on Facebook Marketplace never mind renting a flat through it...crazy.
