Lisbon: Following the dry weather, rain is to return over the weekend with the heaviest showers forecast for Sunday when temperatures will peak at highs of 18 degrees. The rain is to continue the following week although there will be some sunny spells with temperatures averaging highs of 18 degrees.

The north: A wet weekend is in store in the north with rain forecast on Saturday and Sunday and average highs of 14 degrees. The weather is to remain the same for the following week with no chance of sunshine and heavy showers. It will feel mild however with highs of 16 degrees and lows of 11 degrees.

The centre: Saturday is to be mainly dry with sunny spells and highs of 12 degrees. On Sunday a grey and wet day is expected with highs of 13 degrees and lows of 7 degrees. From Monday a mixture of sunshine and showers is forecast with daily highs of 16 degrees and nightly average lows of 10 degrees.

The south: It will be dry and bright in the south over the weekend with hazy high cloud on both days and temperatures averaging highs of 20 degrees with lows of 12 degrees. From Tuesday a mixture of sunshine and showers is expected with average daily highs of 19 degrees and nightly lows of 14 degrees.

Madeira: A wet weekend is forecast in Madeira with daily highs of 22 degrees and lows of 17 degrees. On Monday the rain is to ease slightly with some sunny spells and highs of 24 degrees. The rain is to then continue for the rest of the week.

The Azores: A mixture of sunshine and heavy showers is forecast for the weekend with highs of 18 degrees and lows of 15 degrees. On Monday the rain is to increase before more sunny spells return on Tuesday.
