According to the study which included the participation of 50 thousand respondents with the aim of auditing more than two thousand brands, the city of Porto achieved an evaluation of 74.3 points out of a possible 100, while Porto and Northern Portugal Tourism obtained a rating of 74.5 points.

With regard to cities, the study concluded that, after Porto, the city with the best reputation is Viana do Castelo, whose evaluation was 74.1 points, followed by Aveiro, which obtained 74 points.

Lisbon (73.5 points), Ponta Delgada (73.3 points) and Braga (73.2 points) were the cities that occupied third, fourth and fifth places, respectively, followed by Funchal (73.1 points) , Leiria (73 points), Viseu (73 points) and Coimbra (72.9 points).

At the level of tourism regions, and after Tourism in Porto and the North of Portugal, this ranking includes Tourism in Lisbon (74.2 points), Tourism in the Azores (74.1 points), Tourism in Central Portugal ( 73.7 points), Turismo da Madeira (73.6 points), Turismo de Cascais (73.1 points), Turismo do Algarve (72.8 points) and Turismo do Alentejo and Ribatejo (72.4 points).

The consultant ONSTRATEGY explains that this study was carried out in accordance with the certification of standards ISO20671 (strategy and strength assessment) and ISO10668 (financial assessment), consolidating information regarding the emotional dimension of reputation (Relevance, Consideration, Trust, Admiration, Intention Purchase, Preference, Recommendation and Defense).
