Twenty-six new jobs in the areas of driving, maintenance, sales, and administration will be generated by the new route.

At least 180,000 car trips might be avoided thanks to the new service, according to the business.

The new 783 route, which will run every half hour during peak hours and cover Rathgar, Rathmines, and the city centre, is expected to carry over forty passengers daily.

"We are currently transporting more than 2 million passengers annually between Dublin Airport and the city centre, eliminating nearly a million car trips annually on this route," stated Dublin Express General Manager Rory Fitzgerald.

The need for a comparable service for Dublin's southside was then evident to us.

"Our data shows us that over 520,000 people make about 180,000 trips to the airport in the immediate areas around this route between Terenure and the city centre, so this new 783 service is a huge win not only for the environment but offers a much more affordable and convenient public transport option for passengers," he stated.
