Manchester City were in action on Wednesday as they beat Aston Villa 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Phil Foden scored a hat-trick in the game after Spain’s Rodri opened the scoring in the first half.

Martin Ødegaard’s goal and an own goal gave Arsenal a 2-0 victory over Luton Town, who have now dropped into the relegation zone.

Brentford and Brighton and Hove Albion drew 0-0 in the days other fixture.

Tuesday’s fixtures saw three 1-1 draws, however AFC Bournemouth beat Crystal Palace 1-0, while Nottingham Forest beat Fulham 3-1 as they look to avoid the drop.
